DHAKA, Sept 12, 2026 (BSS) - A court here today placed 25 alleged leaders and 
activists of the activities-banned Awami League (AL) and its front 
organisations on a 10-day remand each in a case filed over their flash 
procession in the capital's Gulshan area on September 11.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Sarah Farzana Haque passed the order as police 
produced them before the court and pleaded to place them on a 10-day remand 
each in the case.

According to the case documents, the accused brought out a flash procession 
on Road 3 in Gulshan-1 around 11:50 am on September 11. They exploded a 
couple of crude bombs and created panic in the area.

Police later filed the case under the Anti-Terrorism Act.
