DHAKA, Dec 30, 2025 (BSS) - The Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC) today expressed condolences over the death of former Bangladesh Prime Minister and BNP chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia.

"The BIMSTEC Secretariat extends its heartfelt condolences on passing away of Begum Khaleda Zia, Former Prime Minister of Bangladesh and Chairperson of BNP. May her blessed soul rest in eternal peace," the BIMSTEC Secretariat said In a condolence message.
