SANGSAD BHABAN, June 9, 2026 (BSS) – Prime Minister and Leader of the House Tarique Rahman joined the Jatiya Sangsad (JS) sitting today.

The third sitting of the first budget session of the 13th Jatiya Sangsad (JS) resumed at 3 pm with Speaker Hafiz Uddin Ahmad, Bir Bikram, in the chair.

The day's proceedings began with recitation from the Holy Quran.

This is the 2nd session of the current parliament, which began on June 7.
