“Jashore has been known as a city of terrorism for a long time…I will take steps to make the district free from terrorism, InshaAllah,” he added.
Highlighting local development issues, the Jamaat candidate also pointed to severe traffic congestion and chronic water-logging in the city. In this context, he blamed illegal encroachment and corruption for blocking the Mukteshwari and Bhairab rivers, which has disrupted natural drainage.
If elected, he said dredging the rivers would be given priority to resolve water-logging in the district.

Regarding election code of conduct, he said he is strictly following the Election Commission’s code of conduct and has instructed party leaders and activists to do the same.
“I am repeatedly warning the workers to ensure that the code of conduct is not violated in any way,” he added.
On the July Charter, Quader expressed full support, saying Jamaat-e-Islami cherishes the spirit of the July Uprising and is campaigning for a “Yes” vote in the referendum.
Sharing his expectations for the upcoming election, he said people were deprived of their voting rights in the last three national elections and now expects a free, fair, and festive election atmosphere.
