KYIV, Ukraine, June 15, 2026 (BSS/AFP) - Russia launched hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles at Ukraine overnight, in attacks that killed at least nine people and set fire to a historic cathedral in Kyiv, the Ukrainian air force said Monday.

The air force said Moscow had launched 70 missiles and 611 drones, mainly targeting the capital, adding that Ukrainian air defence units had downed 50 missiles and 582 drones.
