NAYPYIDAW, Myanmar, Sept 11, 2025 (AFP) - An official from Myanmar's junta-stacked election commission said Thursday that results of its polls that start in December are expected by the close of January 2026.

"The final election result is expected by the end of January, 2026," an official of the Union Election Commission told AFP on condition of anonymity.
