RANGPUR, Aug 23, 2026 (BSS) - Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-13 in an anti-drug drive arrested four alleged female drug dealers with 11 kg of ganja from Kakina Zero Point area under Kaliganj police station in Lalmonirhat district on Saturday afternoon.

The arrestees are Roksana, 40, of the Alamnagar Muslimpara area and Rawshanara, 37, and Moni, 35, of the Nowpara Rail Gate area in Rangpur city and Marjina, 45, of the Gopal area under Kawnia police station in Rangpur, a press release said today.

On a tip-off, an operational team of RAB-13 from Rangpur Sadar conducted a raid at Kakina Zero Point intersection under Kaliganj police station in Lalmonirhat, seized 11 kg of ganja and arrested the three women from the spot at 4:30 pm.

Initial interrogation revealed that the arrested persons have been involved in the drug trade for a long time.

After filing a case against the arrested persons in this incident, the elite force handed over the seized evidence along with the arrested women to Kaliganj police station for further legal action.
