KHULNA, July 29, 2026 (BSS) - A two-day psychosocial care training workshop for women police personnel organized by Khulna Metropolitan Police (KMP) concluded today at the Police Lines in Boyra.
The workshop, held under the theme- Building a Better Bangladesh through Compassionate Care, aimed at strengthening the professional competence, mental resilience and humanitarian skills of women police officers.
On the opening day, Additional Inspector General of Police (Administration) AKM Awlad Hossain attended the programme as the chief guest.
He stressed the importance of enhancing the professional skills, confidence and psychological strength of women police personnel to effectively tackle the challenges of policing.
He urged the participants to deal with workplace situations with patience, tolerance and professionalism while ensuring compassionate and sensitive treatment of women and child victims.
He also highlighted the need to maintain a healthy working life and advised police personnel to limit excessive use of social media in favour of self-development, mental well-being and stronger family ties.
Khulna Range DIG Mostafizur Rahman, Police Training Centre Khulna Commandant AKM Mosharraf Hossain Miaji and and senior KMP officials were present.
The workshop concluded with a closing address by KMP Commissioner Mohammad Zahidul Hasan.
