KHULNA, July 21, 2026 (BSS) – Members of the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-6 arrested a fugitive murder suspect and an alleged drug trader in separate operations in Faridpur and Satkhira districts.

A joint team of RAB-6 CPC-3, Jashore, and RAB-6 Bhatiapara Camp arrested fugitive murder suspect Rahman Sheikh, 25, from the Hasamdia area under Boalmari Upazila of Faridpur at around 3:00 am today.

According to RAB, Rahman was the second named accused in the murder case over the killing of Fakir Alinur of Lohagara Upazila in Narail, who was allegedly murdered in connection with a money-lending dispute.

In another drive, RAB-6 CPC-1 arrested an alleged drug trader with 594 bottles of Phensedyl-like Wincanex syrup during a raid in the Kharhat area under Kaliganj Upazila of Satkhira district.

The arrested person was identified as Md Hossain Ali, 38, a resident of Kharhat village.
