RAJSHAHI, Jan 10, 2026 (BSS) - The 37th Rajshahi divisional annual sports competition was held at District Liberation War Memorial Stadium here today.

Divisional office of Bangladesh Karmochary Kallyan Board (BKKB) organized the sports meet with participation of government officers and employees along with their children from all eight districts in the division.

Commissioner of Rajshahi division Dr ANM Bazlur Rashid opened the competition as chief guest with Additional Commissioner Rezaul Alam Sarker in the chair.

Additional Divisional Commissioner Dr Chitralekha Naznin, Additional Inspector General of Police Shamim Hossain, Additional Commissioner of Rajshahi Metropolitan Police Faruque Hossain, Deputy Commissioner of Rajshahi Afia Akhter and BKKB Director Tareque Mahmud, among others, were present.

In the daylong competition, a total of 306 people took part in 37 events and the winners were given prizes after the events.
