DINAJPUR, Jan 10, 2026 (BSS) - BNP Standing Committee Member Professor Dr AZM Zahid Hossain has organised a day-long free medical camp at Bhaduria Bazar in Nawabganj upazila of the district to provide healthcare services to cold-affected people.

The medical camp, held on Friday from 2:30 pm to 10:00 pm, offered treatment to men, women, elderly people and children suffering from cold, cough, pneumonia and other seasonal illnesses.

A team of experienced doctors examined patients, provided medical advice and distributed necessary medicines free of cost. Medical certificates were also issued where required. 

Nearly 800 patients received treatment at the camp, organizers said. 

The initiative aimed to ensure healthcare support for the common people amid the ongoing cold wave across the country.

Professor Dr AZM Zahid Hossain, BNP candidate for the Dinajpur-6 constituency, and his wife Dr Sharifa Karim Swarna directly supervised the programme and provided necessary guidance.
