DHAKA, Jan 9, 2026 (BSS) - A joint operation team of the Bangladesh Army today arrested six suspected criminals during a raid in Araihazar upazila of Narayanganj this morning.

During the operation, the team recovered a pistol looted from a police station, 10 rounds of bullets, five shotgun shells, eight cocktails, several locally made sharp weapons and drugs from their possession, the Bangladesh Army said in a post on its verified Facebook page.

Bangladesh Army will continue such operations across the country to maintain law and order, the post added.

People have been urged to provide information on criminal activities to the nearest army camp or any law enforcement agency.
