RANGPUR, Nov 13, 2025 (BSS) - At the closing ceremony of the five-day training course, officials and experts have urged entrepreneurs to apply their knowledge gained from the training to business practices to increase productivity of their organisations.
Rangpur district office of Bangladesh Small and Cottage Industries Corporation (BSCIC) organised the closing ceremony of the 'Industrial Entrepreneurship Development' training at its office in the city on Thursday afternoon.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Md Abu Sayeed attended the ceremony as the chief guest with Deputy General Manager of Rangpur District BSCIC Office Md Ehsanul Haque in the chair.
The chief guest said that BSCIC is playing an important role in the industrial development of the country.
"BSCIC is helping to create employment opportunities by enhancing the skills of micro, small and medium entrepreneurs, providing training and advice," he said.
He said that entrepreneurs should be more enthusiastic about providing modern technology-based services, which plays a helpful role in increasing the productivity of products and services.
In addition, BSCIC is also giving special importance to the development of women entrepreneurs.
Currently, the government is providing all-round support to entrepreneurs through such training programmes.
Md Ehsanul Haque, in his closing speech, said that skilled manpower with technological knowledge is very important for increasing the productivity of the organization and production of quality products or services.
"Productivity growth proves efficiency and positive progress in the management of an organisation. For this, it is necessary to have skilled manpower with technological knowledge in the organization," he said.

He urged the trainees to properly utilize the knowledge gained from the training to successfully plan and manage their businesses and enterprises.
Later, the chief guest distributed certificates among 25 trainees at the closing ceremony of the training course.
In the training, 25 participants were given ideas about various important topics including the qualities of a successful entrepreneur, Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats (SWOT) analysis, macro and micro screening, production management, online marketing, project profile preparation and bank loan obtaining.
