JHENAIDAH, Nov 13, 2025 (BSS) - A college student was killed in a road accident in Hamdah area of the district town here today.

The deceased was Swadhin Molla, 18, son of Rowshan Molla of Chhota Kamarkundu Dakshin Para in Sadar upazila and a student of Mashiur Rahman Degree College.

The accident took place around 1.30 pm when Swadhin fell off the motorcycle and was crushed under the wheels of the truck. He died on the spot.

Officer-in-Charge of Sadar Police Station Abdullah Al Mamun confirmed the matter and said police arrested the truck driver.
