KISHOREGANJ, Nov 10, 2025 (BSS) - A youth was electrocuted at Boro Ajlady Nayapara village under Pakundia upazila of the district today.

The deceased was Ekhlas Uddin, 22, son of Md. Jalal Uddin of the village.

Ekhlas was seriously injured when he suddenly came in contact with an electric wire while working at his chicken farm around 12:30 pm. 

Locals quickly rescued him and took him to Pakundia Upazila Health Complex where the doctor on duty declared him dead. 

Pakundia Police Station Inspector (Investigation) Md. Mobarak Hossain confirmed the matter.
