BOGURA, Nov 09, 2025 (BSS) - The blood donor organization 'Raktospandan' (Blood Pulse) officially inaugurated a QR Code scanning sticker initiative in Bogura on Saturday.

The programme was inaugurated by the chief guest, Professor Dr Mowdud Hossain Alamgir Pavel, who is the convener of the BNP Media Cell and the former Principal and Project Director of Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College (SZMC) hospital. 

Dr Pavel formally launched the programme by scanning the sticker code.

According to Raktospandan, the primary goal of the QR Code scanning sticker initiative is to make it easy for the general public to communicate with blood donors. Furthermore, the organization stated that this initiative will serve as a new effort to engage young men and women who are interested in blood donation.

During the event, Dr A N M Monwarul Kadir Bitu, the Chief Co-ordinator of Raktospandan, delivered a welcome address while Dr Md Mehrab Hossain Ani, the Deputy Co-ordinator of the organization, also addressed the gathering.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Professor Dr Moinul Hassan Sadik, BNP candidate for Gaibandha-3 seat and former director of SZMC hospital.

The event also saw the attendance of former and current leaders of the Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Chhatra Dal, along with numerous leaders from the Bogura District DAB and BMA.
