RAJBARI, Nov 7 (BSS) — Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has formally launched its national election campaign in Rajbari district through holding a large public gathering and procession on the occasion of the “Revolution and Solidarity Day”.

From the afternoon, thousands of BNP leaders and activists, along with members of affiliated organizations, paraded through the main streets of Rajbari town before converging at the municipal community center for a public meeting.

BNP National Executive Committee member Ali Newaz Mahmud Khayyam attended the programme as the chief guest.

 In his address, Khayyam, also BNP candidate from Rajbari-1 constituency for the next parliamentary polls, said November 7 remains a historic symbol of unity between the people and the armed forces to defend national sovereignty. 

“Today, we must revive that same spirit to restore democracy in the country,” he added.

District BNP leaders Naeem Ansari, Ahsan Habib, Abdul Majid, and others also spoke, emphasizing the party’s determination to secure victory in the upcoming national elections. 
At the close of the event, district BNP leaders formally announced the beginning of BNP’s continuous election campaign and public outreach programs in Rajbari, describing the day as the official start of their nationwide campaign.

The venue overflowed with enthusiastic supporters, turning the gathering into one of the district’s largest political events in recent months.
