THAKURGAON, Nov 5, 2025 (BSS) - The Department of Agricultural Extension (DAE) has distributed high-quality mustard seeds Bina-11 among 125 July warriors in the district.

The Agriculture Department took this initiative with the aim of making the July warriors self-reliant, prioritizing public health in the production and use of edible oil, ensuring the participation of the July warriors in the country's modern agriculture and establishing them as agricultural entrepreneurs. 

Deputy Director of DAE Majedul Islam handed over the incentive among them as the chief guest at a function held at Sadar Upazila Hallroom on the occasion of the Youth Festival organized by the Department of Agricultural Extension.

Sadar Upazila Agricultural Officer Nasirul Alam presided over the function while District Agricultural Training Officer Shamima Naznin was present as the special guest.

On behalf of the agricultural entrepreneurs participating in the programmme, July fighter Mohammad Dulal Islam of Salandar and Humayun Ahmed of Chilarang thanked the Agriculture Department for this initiative.
