CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Nov 4, 2025 (BSS) - A three-day 'Women Entrepreneurs Fair' was inaugurated in Shibganj upazila of the district on the occasion of the Youth Festival 2025. 

The fair, organized by the Upazila Administration and the National Women's Organization, opened its doors on November 4, 2025, at the Upazila Parishad premises.

Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md. Azahar Ali formally inaugurated the event in the afternoon. 

In his speech, he highlighted that the fair was designed to promote and expand the products of women entrepreneurs, encourage their creativity, and create a connection between entrepreneurs and consumers. 

"This fair aims to inspire women entrepreneurs and help them reach a wider audience," he said, encouraging people from all walks of life in the upazila to visit the fair and support the local businesses.

Upazila Veterinary Surgeon Abu Ferdous, Upazila Rural Development Officer Shahin Akter and Upazila Social Service Officer Nurul Islam, among others, were present.

The fair features 50 stalls showcasing a variety of products, including food items, clothing, handmade crafts, and cosmetics-all produced by women entrepreneurs. 

The fair is open to the general public daily from 9.00 am to 7.00 pm.
