PATUAKHALI, Nov 3, 2025 (BSS) - A mobile court seized 1400 kg jatka (hilsa fries) during a raid on six Dhaka-bound buses at Kalapara Chowrasta bus stand here in the district last night.

The mobile court led by Executive Magistrate and Kalapara Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Md. Yasin Sadek also fined each bus driver Tk 12,000. 

Later, the seized items were distributed among students of local orphanages and 30 sanitation workers of Kalapara municipality, said Md. Yasin Sadek.
