KHULNA, Nov 1, 2025 (BSS) - Khulna Metropolitan Police (KMP) Commissioner Md. Zulfikar Ali Haider today emphasized that maintaining professionalism, integrity, and efficiency at all levels of the police force is vital for conducting a free, fair, and neutral national election.

He made the remarks while delivering the welcome speech at a training workshop at the Police Lines in Boyra, Khulna.

Inaugurated this morning, the workshop aims to enhance the skills and capacity of police personnel for the smooth execution of election duties.

The KMP commissioner urged all police officers to perform their responsibilities with honesty, accountability, and respect for the law.

He said the training would strengthen officers' practical knowledge and operational capacity in handling election-related tasks, expressing hope it would contribute to maintaining law and order and ensuring efficient management at polling centers.

Deputy Police Commissioner (Headquarters) M.M. Shakiluzzaman and trainee officers attended the workshop.
