NAOGAON, Oct 23, 2025 (BSS) - Two youths were killed and four others injured in a head-on collision between motorcycles and a truck at Manda upazila of the district last night.

The deceased were identified as Yamin Ali, 20, son of Emdadul Haque and Tuhin, 20, son of Jahangir Alam, both residents of Ganeshpur village of the upazila.

The accident took place around 8 pm on the Naogaon-Rajshahi highway near the Milon Brick Kiln.

Six friends were going to Ferry Ghat from Satihat on three motorcycles when their bikes collided head-on with a truck near the brick kiln area, leaving Tuhin dead on the spot and the others badly injured.

The injured were taken to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital where Yamin succumbed to his injuries.

The injured are Ashiq, Sadiq, Tarun and Monowar. 

Confirming the matter, Manda Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Abu Raihan said that the bodies were handed over to the family members.
