RANGPUR, Oct 22, 2025 (BSS) - Amar Bangladesh Party (AB Party) general secretary Barrister Asaduzzaman Fuad has said that industrialization and setting up factories have become crucial for the development of the Rangpur region. 

"With industrialization, the youth of the Rangpur region will get employment and a new life. Otherwise, they will not be free from the grip of drugs," he said.

Barrister Fuad observed while exchanging views with local journalists at the Public Library hall room in Rangpur city on Wednesday afternoon.

Fuad, mentioning the need to increase investment in the country's northern region, said that if there are industries and factories, unemployment will decrease, the youth will not turn to drugs, and as a result, economic development will occur. 

In addition, sports opportunities must be ensured up to the union level so that people get good health. 

Farmers must be ensured fertilizer supply at a fair price and education must be improved, only then will the country move forward. 

Thanking the education adviser of the interim government for accepting the fair demands of the teachers, Barrister Fuad said, the teachers had been protesting, demanding their demands for a long time. 

"The education adviser has resolved the issue of the teachers with importance. The teachers have returned home, although all the demands have not been implemented yet," he said.

"We want to remove discrimination. Therefore, we call for accepting their demands based on discussion," he said.
 
AB Party's central and local district and metropolitan unit leaders, including Md Mahbubur Rahman, Md Mostafizur Rahman, Abu Bakar Siddique, Md Enamul Haque, Golzar Hossain, among others, were present at the event.
