CHATTOGRAM, October 20, 2025 (BSS) - Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP) arrested Mirza Aslam Sarwar Rimon (38), a Jubo League leader and former Chairman of Dhemsha Union Parishad in Satkania Upazila of the district.

Mirza Aslam Sarwar Rimon, the son of late Sarwar Jamal, former Chairman of Dhemsha Chairman Bari in South Dhemsha, was arrested by OC Md. Ikhtekharuddin of Baklia Thana on Monday. 

Rimon, a former Chairman of Dhemsha UP and an active leader of Jubo League, was apprehended in a drive conducted in the Baklia area on Sunday night. 

Legal proceedings against the arrested person are currently underway.
