CHATTOGRAM, Oct 20, 2025 (BSS)- Police in a drive arrested three persons 
along with 13,000 pieces of contraband Yaba tablets in Lohagara upazila of 
the district today. 

The arrested are Jasim Uddin, 33, Md. Karim, 34, and Mohiuddin, 25. 

On a tip-off, a team of the police conducted a raid in front of the office of 
the Chunati Forest Range Officer at 1 pm on Monday and arrested the bus 
driver of "Hanif Paribahan", its assistant and supervisor.

The team also seized the contraband drugs from their possession, Officer-in-
Charge (OC) of Lohagara Police Station Arifur Rahman confirmed.

The arrested, along with the seized drugs, were handed over to the Lohagara 
Police Station today for taking legal action, he added.
