CCC to launch 10 services through ‘Amader Chattogram App’

CHATTOGRAM, Oct 19, 2025 (BSS) – With a view to making city services faster, more transparent, and accountable, the Chattogram City Corporation (CCC) is set to launch the “Amader Chattogram App.”

The app, featuring 10 services, will serve as a one-stop citizen service and management platform aimed at reducing time, cost, and inconvenience for city residents.

City Mayor Dr Shahadat Hossain has announced the launch of the “Amader Chattogram App” to simplify public services under the CCC. The app will be inaugurated at the Kazir Deuri International Convention Centre on Tuesday.

Dr Shahadat described it as a one-stop citizen service and management system that will provide various CCC services at the fingertips of city residents.

The mobile and web-based app will allow citizens to report area-specific problems, track the progress of their resolution, and communicate directly with the mayor and corporation officials.

How to use the ‘Amader Chattogram App’: Users can download it from the Google Play Store or App Store, create an account, and provide the necessary information. They can select a category and location to report problems, which will then be forwarded to the relevant department. The app provides updates on the status of complaints, showing whether they are “in process” or “resolved.”

The app offers 10 services: education, health, roads, mosquito control, garbage management, street lights, public toilets, drainage, illegal establishments, and waterlogging.

The app will also provide updates on Chattogram news and important City Corporation announcements. Citizens can participate in surveys and share their opinions. It also helps users locate important places and communicate with the Mayor regarding city service-related queries. Various digital services of the CCC are accessible through the app.

Shaheen Alam, Project Manager of the “Amader Chattogram App,” said the Mayor aims to modernize and make CCC’s citizen services more transparent through this initiative.

“With this app, residents can report area-specific problems and track the progress of their resolution. They can also directly contact the Mayor and corporation officials,” Shaheen Alam said.

City Mayor Dr Shahadat Hossain said the CCC aims to become more digital and citizen-friendly in delivering services, positioning itself as a leading service provider in the country.

“The launch of the ‘Amader Chattogram App’ will make 10 services easily accessible to citizens, reducing their hardships,” he added.
