MADARIPUR, Oct 19, 2025 (BSS) - A man was killed and three others were injured in a head-on collision between a bus and a Mahindra truck at Iterpul regional highway in the district town on Sunday morning.

The deceased was Shah Alam Matubbar, 55, son of late Hossain Matubbar of Ghatmajhi union in Sadar upazila of the district.  

“The accident took place when a passenger bus collided head-on with a Mahindra truck and turned turtle, leaving four Mahindra passenger seriously injured,” said Md. Adil Hossain, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Madaripur Sadar Police Station.

Locals rescued them and admitted to Madaripur Sadar Hospital. Later Shah Alam died on the way to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
