RANGPUR, Oct 16, 2025 (BSS) - Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-13 detained two 
alleged drug traders with 27 kgs of ganja and a battery-run auto-rickshaw 
from village Dakshin Gaddimari under Hatibandha police station of Lalmonirhat 
district today.
 
An operational team of RAB-13's Sadar Company from Rangpur in a drive seized 
the smuggled ganja and the auto-rickshaw and arrested the two persons from 
the spot at 11 am, a press release said tonight.
 
The detainees were identified as Zahurul Islam, 40, son of late Osman Gani of 
village Purbo Senduna and Md Rozina Khatun, 40, wife of Md Faridul Islam of 
village Dakshin Goddimari under Hatibandha police station of Lalmonirhat 
district.
 
The elite force handed over them with seized ganja to Hatibandha police 
station today, the release said.
