KHULNA, Oct 13, 2025 (BSS) - A shocking murder case in Khulna has taken a new turn Three people - Faisal, his father GM Hannan and mother Mahinur Begum - have confessed before a Khulna court to killing seven-year-old Jisan in Dighalia upazila of the district. 

The trio gave their confessional statements under Section 164 before Senior Judicial Magistrate Amit Kumar Biswas on Sunday afternoon.

According to police, Faisal, 25, hacked the child to death with a machete before his parents helped conceal the body in a sack.

The body of Jisan, who had gone missing on Thursday afternoon while visiting his uncle's house, was recovered from the yard of Faisal's home on Saturday.

Jisan's father Md Alamgir Hossain filed a murder case on Sunday with Dighalia Police Station, naming Faisal and his parents as the accused.

Following their arrest, the three were sent to jail after court proceedings.
