KHULNA, Oct 7, 2025 (BSS) - Joint forces arrested a terrorist from Dighalia upazila of the district last night.

On information, Navy and police conducted a drive at Formayeshkhana village in Dighalia upazila in the district and arrested Ripon from his residence, says an ISPR release this morning.

The joint forces also seized a 7.6mm pistol, 5 rounds of bullet, one magazine and 3 mobile phones from his possession.

Quoting police source, the ISPR said Ripon is a warrantee accused in different cases including murder, robbery, snatching and abduction. 

The arrestee was handed over to Dighalia police station along with seized arms and ammunition, said the ISPR, adding that such operation will continue for the sake of law and order.
