BARISHAL, Sept 29, 2025 (BSS)- The Barishal Divisional Book Fair is scheduled 
to begin on October 8 and will continue until October 16.
 
The fair will be held under the auspices of the Ministry of Cultural Affairs, 
organised by National Book Centre with the assistance of Barishal Divisional 
Administration.

The book fair will take place on Bell's Park ground in the city and will be 
open to the public daily from 4pm to 10pm.

The announcement was made today at a preparatory meeting of the book fair, 
held at the Divisional Commissioner's office conference room.

Additional Divisional Commissioner Md. Ahsan Habib presided over the meeting 
while Additional Divisional Commissioner (Revenue) Md. Sohrab Hossain and 
Barishal Metropolitan Police Deputy Commissioner Md. Abdul Hannan, among 
others officials from the Divisional and District Administrations, 
participated in the meeting.
