JHENAIDAH, Sept 22, 2025 (BSS) - A total of 15 sewing machines and 20 pesticide spray machines were distributed among poor women and marginal farmers under the Development Assistance Project (PBG) in Sadhuhati union of Sadar upazila today.

The distribution ceremony was held at the Sadhuhati Union Parishad premises around 1 pm.

Sadhuhati Union Parishad Chairman Kazi Nazir Uddin distributed the equipment among 15 poor women and 20 marginal farmers at the function.

Among others, Union Parishad Secretary Ramzan Ali, UP members Manshad Ali, Mohammad Ali, Anarul Islam, Shafiqul Islam, Nazir Uddin, Matiar Rahman Malita and other local representatives were present on the occasion.

Under the initiative, 15 poor women received sewing machines while marginal farmers were provided with high-quality pesticide spray machines free of cost.
