KHULNA, Sept 17, 2025 (BSS) - A minor boy was killed in a road accident in South Mohammad Nagar Switchgate area under Labonchara Police Station of the district on Wednesday evening.
 
The deceased was Muntajin, 5, son of Saddam Sardar of Kalabogi village under Dakop upazila of the district.

The accident took place when an easy-bike hit the boy, leaving him critically injured, said Officer-in-Charge of Labonchara Police Station, Howlader Sanwar Hussain Masum. 

He later died while undergoing treatment at Khulna Medical College Hospital around 7.30 pm.

Earlier, the local mob beat up easy bike driver Asadul Islam and later handed over him to the police.
