BAGERHAT Aug 12, 2025 (BSS) – Local administration today observed the National and International Youth Day here through holding different programmes as elsewhere in other parts of the country.     

The programme started around 11 am. The newly appointed Upazila Executive Officer of Kachua Md. Ali Hasan was present as the chief guest at the programme while Upazila Youth Development Officer Md. Akbar Hossain Howlader in the chair. 

Officials and employees of various departments, brave freedom fighters, and leaders from various youth organizations were present.  Training certificates, successful youth organizers and successful self-employed persons were given awards. 

President of Molla Youth Welfare Foundation and Naya Diganta (Multimedia) Bagerhat representative Tarikuzzaman got the ‘Successful Youth Organizer Medal’ and Leon Sikder received the ‘Successful Self-Employed Medal’.
