Free clinic launched in Madaripur

MADARIPUR, Aug 9, 2025 (BSS) - A free clinic named Maqsuda Latif Khan Clinic has officially started its journey in Khagdi area of Madaripur district town.
 
The clinic was inaugurated on Friday by a former lawmaker from the women's reserved seat and BNP's Joint Education Secretary Helen Jerin Khan, according to the official Facebook page of the BNP.
 
Jerin's family organization, "Do Better for the Children," will provide financial support for the clinic.
 
The clinic authorities said that free medicines and healthcare will be provided to the common people of the area. Through this initiative, the helpless and low-income people of Khagdi and surrounding areas will get primary healthcare.
 
The inauguration ceremony was also attended by district BNP joint convener Sohrab Hossain Howlader, district BNP member KM Tofazzal Hossain Santu, former district BNP vice-president Mujibur Rahman, Krishak Dal member secretary Wahiduzzaman Khan, Mohila Dal member secretary Munmun Akhter, party leaders and activists and local dignitaries.

Speaking as the chief guest at the inaugural ceremony, Zerin said, "Ensuring people's right to health is our moral responsibility. Through this clinic, medical services will be provided to the poor."
