MUNSHIGANJ, Aug 2, 2025 (BSS) - A man died from electrocution at Uttar Fuldi village under Gazaria upazila of the district last night.

The deceased was Sagar Mia, 30, son of Azibar Prodhan of the same area.

Sagar came in contact with a live electric wire while he was installing a water pump for supplying water to an under-construction building at 9 pm.

Later, he was taken to Gazaria Upazila Health Complex where the on-duty doctor declared him dead. 

Officer-in-Charge of Gazaria Police Station Md. Anwar Alam Azad confirmed the matter.

The body has been handed over to the family. A UD case has been filed in this regard with Gazaria Police Station.
