BOGURA, July 31, 2025 (BSS) - A man died from electrocution at Khandkarpara in Sherpur municipality of the district on Wednesday evening.

The deceased was Limon, 40, son of a Raja, a resident of the same area.

Limon came in contact with a live dish line wire while he was connecting the line at his house. Family members and locals rescued him and took to Sherpur Upazila Health Complex where the on-duty doctor declared him dead.

Officer-in-Charge of Sherpur Police Station SM Moinuddin confirmed the matter.
