KHULNA, July 13, 2025 (BSS) – Joint forces team arrested a youth from a residential hotel under Sonadanga Thana in the early hours today and recovered arms, ammunition and contraband Yaba tablets from his procession.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Sonadanga police station Shafiqul Islam said, a joint team comprising Navy, Coast Guard and police conducted a drive at Hotel Z N Palace under Sonadanga Thana area and arrested Nazimuddin Belal, son of late Kamruddin Khan, residence at City’s Choto Boyra area.

They also seized a foreign made pistol, five rounds of bullet and 476 pieces of Yaba tablets from his possession.

The arrested was handed over to Sonadanga police station. A case was filed in this connection.
