TANGAIL, July 13, 2025 (BSS) - The final match of the Shaheed Zia Memorial Football Tournament 2025 was held yesterday at the Ghatail Uttar Para Playground in Ghatail upazila of the district.

The event was organized under the direct supervision of BNP National Executive Committee Member SM Obaidul Haque Nasir. Former national footballer and convener of Dhaka North City BNP Md Aminul Haque attended the final as the chief guest.

Adibasi Football XI of Madhupur and Advocate Kader Sporting Club of Deulabari contested the final match. A large number of local residents gathered to enjoy the game.

Among others, Ghatail Upazila BNP president Sirajul Haque Sana, general secretary Alhaj Billal Hossain, Poura BNP president and freedom fighter Abdul Baset Karim, general secretary Anwar Hossain Helal, and convener of the tournament organizing committee Mohammad Ali were present.
