Pass rate falls, GPA-5 achievers increase in Ctg board

CHATTOGRAM, July 10, 2025 (BSS) – The pass rate percentage decreased in this year's Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations under the Chattogram education board.

Meanwhile, the number of students achieving GPA-5 (Grade Point Average) has increased in the results of the SSC examination this year.

The pass percentage is 72.07 this year down from previous year’s 82.80 percent. A total of 11,843 students secured GPA-5 compared to 10823 last year. 
 
The pass rate declined by 10.73 percentage points compared to the previous year.

Out of a total of 140,388 examinees from 1125 high school, 101,181 passed the examinations held in April-May this year.
