RAJSHAHI, July 10, 2025 (BSS) - Rajshahi Education Board has attained 77.63 percent pass in the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations in 2025.
Last year, pass rate of SSC examination under the Rajshahi Education Board was 89.26.
This year, pass rate and the number of students obtained GPA-5 were declined compared to the previous year under the board.
Board Chairman Prof ANM Mofakkharul Islam announced the SSC result through a press conference at his office conference hall here this afternoon.
A total of 1,80,310 students, including 86,051 girls, appeared in the SSC examinations and 1,39,983, including 86,051 girls, of those came out successful under the board this year.
They appeared in the public examinations from 2,690 institutions in 269 centres in all eight districts under the board.
According to this year's result, the pass percentage of girls' students is 82.01, while 73.64 percent of boys passed the examination.
Prof Islam said 22,327 students, including 11,962 girls, obtained GPA-5 this year against the previous year's 28,074, including 15,494 girls.
He said the number of 100 percent passed institutions is 99.
He also said 1,92,170 students, including 1,00,167 girls, had registered but 1,63,070 of them, including 80,772 girls, applied for taking part in the examination, meaning that 29,100 students, including 19,395 girls, remained dropout under the board this year.
