CHATTOGRAM, July 8, 2025 (BSS) - A man was killed in a wild elephant attack in the hilly area of Falharia village in Padua union of Rangunia upazila in the Chattogram district in the early hours of today.

The deceased was identified as Ajit Barua, 48, from B Falharia village in Padua union of Rangunia upazila in the Chattogram district.

OC Sabbir Mohammad Selim, South Rangunia Police Station confirmed the incident and said that locals reported Ajit was mentally unstable.
