MUNSHIGANJ, July 7, 2025 (BSS) - A motorcyclist was killed while he was skidding away after striking behind a bus on Dhaka-Mawa expressway last night.

The motorcyclist is identified as Rohan, 18, son of M Mosharraf of Dohar upazila under Dhaka district.

A speedy motorbike suddenly hit behind a passenger bus on Dhaka-bound lane at Nimtala area at 8pm on Sunday and the motorcyclist dead on the spot when his was skidded after losing control, said Officer in Charge (OC) Abdul Quader Jilani of Hasara Highway police station.

Critically injured other co-rider of the bike was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.

The dead body of Rohan was taken away by his relatives.
