DHAKA, Nov 28, 2022 (BSS) - The Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) will hold the 'ICMAB Best Corporate Award-2021' on December 1 to recognize the best performing companies in different sectors. 

Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi will be present at the award giving ceremony as the chief guest and thus distribute awards among the winners.

ICMAB President Md. Mamunur Rashid spoke briefly on the issues of ICMAB Best Corporate Award before the journalists at the office of Capital Market Journalist Forum in the capital today, said a press release.

The 17 award categories are Nationalized Commercial Bank; Private Commercial Bank; Private Commercial Bank (Islamic Operation); Non-bank Financial Institution; General Insurance; Life Insurance; Pharmaceuticals; Cement; Textile; Multinational Company; Others Manufacturing; Power Generation; Oil, Gas & Energy; NGO; Agro and Food Processing; Trading & Assembly and IT & Telecommunication.

Chairman of ICMAB Best Corporate Award Committee Md Abdul Aziz, AKM Kamruzzaman, Secretary, Ali Haider Chowdhury, Treasurer, ICMAB and AKM Delwar Hussain, Advisor, SAFA, and former President of SAFA also spoke on the occasion.
