DHAKA, Nov 24, 2022 (BSS) - A delegation of the Dutch-Bangla Chamber of Commerce & Industry (DBCCI) would visit the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxemburg from February 25 to March 3 for promotion of investment.
 
DBCCI President Md. Anwar Shawkat Afser informed this when he met Executive Chairman of Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (BEPZA) Major General Abul Kalam Mohammad Ziaur Rahman on November 22 at the latter's office.

During the meeting, the DBCCI President apprised the BEPZA Executive Chairman about the possible participation of DBCCI's delegation at the "Bangladesh Investment Road Show in the BENELUX-2023", said a press release today.

Afser mentioned that more Dutch investors will be attracted through the visit of BIDA-DBCCI investment delegation to the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg during February 25 to March 3, 2023.

In response, Major General Abul Kalam Mohammad Ziaur Rahman assured to extend his all-out support to attract Foreign Direct Investment (FDI).

He focused on various prominent sectors where foreign investors can invest in Bangladesh, especially on light engineering, leather, vegetables, manufacturing of equipments on car, medical, petroleum, textile and jute.

Mr. Ali Reza Mazid, (Additional Secretary) Member, Investment Promotion, BEPZA, Md. Tanvir Hossian, Executive Director, Investment Promotion, BEPZA and Biswajit Roy, Coordinator of DBCCI were present in the meeting.
