FBCCI team reaches India as entourage of Sheikh Hasina

 

DHAKA, Sept 5, 2022 (BSS) - A high-level business delegation led by
Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industries (FBCCI), for
enhancing bilateral trade relations, reached India on a four-day visit as
entourage of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

 The business delegation, led by FBCCI President Md. Jashim Uddin, left
Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport for India today, said a press release
here.

Vice-President Md Amin Helaly will be serving as acting president of FBCCI
till the President and his delegation returns.

 On Tuesday afternoon, the FBCCI delegation will participate in a meeting
titled "New Horizons of India Bangladesh Economic Relations" with the
Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI).

A meeting will be held between FBCCI and Confederation of Indian Industry
(CII) on Wednesday morning. In the evening, FBCCI is scheduled to participate
in the India-Bangladesh Business Forum organised by Assocham.

 The 62-member business delegation includes Former FBCCI President Md Shafiul
Islam (Mohiuddin), Abdul Matlub Ahmad, FBCCI Senior Vice-President Mostofa
Azad Chowdhury Babu, Vice-President M A Razzak Khan Raj, former Director
