DHAKA, August 11, 2022 (BSS) - Padma Bank and Flora Systems Ltd have signed
an agreement regarding the digital transformation of the bank at its
corporate head office in the capital's Gulshan area.
Tarek Reaz Khan, managing director and CEO of Padma Bank and Mustafa Rafiqul
Islam, chairman and managing director of Flora Systems Ltd, signed the
documents on behalf of their respective organisations yesterday.
Under the agreement, firstly "Florabank Conventional Core Banking" (CBS) and
Islamic Banking "FloraBank Insaf" will be implemented to improve the quality
of information technology services, said a press release here today.
Besides, Anti-Money laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism
(AML/CFT) Solution, Regulatory Reporting, Dashboard, Fixed Asset Management,
Agent Banking, Internet Banking, Mobile Wallet, Management Dashboard, MIS
Reporting, Kiosk and other digital services will be implemented in phases.
Deputy managing director Faisal Ahsan Chowdhury, Senior Executive Vice
President (SEVP) and Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) M Ahsan Ullah Khan,
SEVP and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Badal Kumar Nath, Executive Vice
President (EVP) and Head of Banking Operations Syed Towhid Hossain, Vice
President (VP) and Chief Information Technology Officer (CITO) Md. Mosharraf
Hossain Khan, CITO of Flora Systems Ltd. SK Bhowmik and chief Marketing
Officer Mokbul Hossain and other senior officials of different departments
from both the organisations were also present on the occasion.
