Hong Kong shares open higher

HONG KONG, June 23, 2022 (BSS/AFP) - Hong Kong stocks kicked off Thursday
morning with a gain following the previous day's hefty losses but with fears
over a possible recession continuing to weigh on sentiment.

The Hang Seng Index rose 0.71 percent, or 149.24 points, to 21,157.58.

The Shanghai Composite Index edged up 0.06 percent, or 1.85 points, to
3,269.05, while the Shenzhen Composite Index on China's second exchange added
0.18 percent, or 3.73 points, to 2,123.55.
