DHAKA, Feb 10, 2022 (BSS) - The government has revealed the
'National Plan of Action on Occupational Safety and Health
(2021-2030)'.

   Through the national action plan, a safe and decent work
environment will be ensured by 2030 as per the SDG targets announced
by the United Nations, said a press release.

  The action plan was revealed today at the 11th meeting of the
National Industrial Health and Safety Council under the Ministry of
Labour and Employment at Hotel Sonargaon in the capital.

  State Minister for Labour and Employment Begum Monnujan Sufian
presided over the meeting.

  In his speech, Begum Monnujan Sufian said that the role of National
Occupational Health and Safety Council is utmost importance in
creating conducive working environment and ensuring occupational
health, safety and welfare of workers.
