DHAKA, Sept 6, 2026 (BSS) - UCB Fintech Limited (Upay), a concern of United Commercial Bank (UCB), has partnered with Kommute (Bangladesh) Limited to provide office-commute services through the ecosystem.

Under the partnership, Upay customers will be able to access Kommute’s office-commute services through the Upay App and pay ride fares using the Upay Wallet, said a press release today.

It said the partnership will also introduce customer-focused campaigns, discounts and promotional offers from time to time.

Kommute is a premium, tech-enabled office commuting and ride-sharing service based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The service provides scheduled, point-to-point office transportation designed to help professionals bypass the typical daily stress of Dhaka's traffic.

The agreement was signed by Head of Corporate Sales of Upay Sajjad Alam and Managing Director of Kommute Md Al Amin Sarker on behalf of their respective organisations. 

Senior officials from both organisations were also present at the signing ceremony.

Sajjad Alam said, “At Upay, we are building an ecosystem that goes beyond financial services to make everyday life simpler and more convenient. Our partnership with Kommute brings mobility and digital payments together, creating greater value for our customers.”

Al Amin Sarker said, “This partnership with Upay will make daily commuting more seamless and convenient for our customers by combining Kommute’s premium transport service with a trusted digital payment experience.”
